AMMN - In partnership with Pertamina for LNG supply Amman Mineral Internasional (AMMN), signed heads of agreement with Pertamina through its subsidiary - AMNT to secure LNG supply for its new gas and steam power plant of copper smelter and precious metal refinery, plant expansion and mining phase-8. Its power plant is in construction phase with 450 MW capacities, thrice bigger than an existing. The smelter will produce 222k tons of copper cathode, 830k tons sulfuric acid with a concentration of 98% from Batu Hijau mine and Elang Project that is targetted to operate by 2024. (Source: Kontan)
