UNVR – Focusing on core business Unilever Indonesia (UNVR) has sold its ice cream business unit for IDR7 tn as to focus more on its core business in FMCG categories such as household products, personal care, and daily necessities. The sale of this business unit will reduce operational burdens and improve efficiency. Proceeds from the ice cream business unit sale will be distributed as cash dividends. Previously, the ice cream business unit contributed relatively little to UNVR's revenue compared to other business units, such as household products like soap and detergents. (Source : Kontan)
