ADRO – A 35.74 mn tonnes of coal production in 1H24 Adaro Energy Indonesia (ADRO) posted an increase in production to 35.74 mn tons (+7% yoy) and an increase in sales to 34.94 mn tons (+7% yoy) in 1H24. The sales consisted of 26% in the domestic market, 24% in Northeast Asia, 18% in Southeast Asia, 18% in China, 11% in India and 3% in other export destination countries. Furthermore, the volume of overburden removal reached 141.58 mn bcm (+9% yoy). Metallurgical coal sales through its subsidiary, ADMR, also increased by 43% yoy to 2.59 mn tons in 1H24. Meanwhile, coal production through subsidiaries consisted of: 1) ADMR of 25.69 mn tons (+3% yoy), 2) Balangan Coal Companies of 4.45 mn tons (+10% yoy) and, 3) Mustika Indah Permai of 2.61 mn tons.
