ANTM – Signed the power supply contract with PLN for ferronickel project

The contract between Aneka Tambang (ANTM) and PLN is to support the supply of electricity for the operation of the ANTM ferronickel plant of 150 MVA for the next 16 months at the Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit (UBP), Southeast Sulawesi on January 16, 2023. The signing of this contract is a follow-up to the implementation of the MoU on June 3, 2022. This collaboration will support ANTM's cost efficiency and ESG. The supply of electricity to the plant's operating line from the PLN grid is expected to reduce carbon gas emissions by about 50%. (Source : Kontan)
