INCO – Partnering with Ford Motor for nickel battery plant project

INCO – Partnering with Ford Motor for nickel battery plant project Vale Indonesia (INCO) and Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt had officially established a partnership with Ford Motor Company and they plans to do the construction of a nickel battery raw material plant in Indonesia. Ford Motor Company has directly acquired shares in Kolaka Nickel Indonesia (KNI) alongside INCO and Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt. As of December 21, 2023, Ford Motor Company holds an 8.5% stake in KNI.
