WMUU – Recorded IDR26 bn in net loss

Widodo Makmur Unggas (WMUU) recorded a net loss of IDR26.04 bn in 1Q23. Whereas, the company had posted a net profit of IDR40.65 bn in 1Q22. Widodo Makmur Unggas' net sales slumped 80.21% to IDR124.74 bn in 1Q23 compared to IDR630.45 bn in the same period last year. Carcass chicken sales dominated sales at IDR61.37 bn. In line with the decline in sales, the WMUU's cost of sales also fell to IDR126.15 bn from IDR541.98 bn. Operating expenses decreased to IDR11.95 bn from IDR25.07 bn. (source : Investor Daily)
