ANTM – Boosting production and sales of nickel, gold and bauxite in 2H24 Aneka Tambang (ANTM) focuses on boosting the production and sales of nickel, gold and bauxite in 2H24. ANTM targets nickel production of 22,464 TNi (+5% yoy) and nickel sales of 22,464 TNi (+12% yoy) in 2024. The target is based on the outlook for nickel absorption globally, the market' conditions and the level of utilization and the stability of its plant operations in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi. For nickel ore, ANTM targets production of 20.58 mn wmt (+53% yoy) and sales of 18.75 mn wmt (+60% yoy) in 2024. The increase in the target is in line with the growth outlook of the nickel industry in the country. ANTM also targets gold production of 30,800 troy oz and gold sales of 1,200,959 troy oz (+43% yoy) this year. To achieve this target, ANTM focuses on developing its domestic customer base, innovating products and services, and increasing reserves and resources through exploration. ANTM will also focus on completing the Feronickel Haltim plant in North Maluku and accelerating the development of the EV battery ecosystem with strategic partners. Note that, ANTM posted sales of IDR23.18 tn (+7% yoy) and net profit of IDR1.55 tn (-17.55% yoy) in 1H24. (Source : Kontan)
