ESSA – Expansion into sustainable aviation fuel segment Essa Industries Indonesia (ESSA) is set to expand into the sustainable aviation fuel segment and double its ammonia production capacity. Currently, ESSA is facing a decline in ammonia ASP to USD313 per ton (-8% yoy). Additional risks stem from weakening LNG demand due to slower economic activity and potential project delays. Note that, ESSA recorded revenue of USD137.59 mn (-9.25% yoy) and net profit of USD14.84 mn (-22.31% yoy) in 1H25. ESSA’s revenue is composed of the ammonia segment at USD116.11 mn (-9.96% yoy), LPG segment at USD19.76 mn (-5.39% yoy), and processing services segment at USD1.72 mn (-2.97% yoy).
