EXCL – Expects around 10%-20% higher traffic during the Eid holiday XL Axiata (EXCL) expects around 10%-20% higher traffic (vs normal days) during this year' Eid holiday, due to the increasing digital activities, such as virtual gatherings. Thus far, during Ramadan, traffic has increased by 5% than the normal days. In order to anticipate the higher traffic due to the users' increasing mobility during the Eid holiday, EXCL has increased and optimized its network and capacity by 2-3 times. EXCL has also deployed and placed around 94 units of its mobile BTS fleet, in order to support its network' strengthening in various locations that prone to traffic congestion, especially at tourist sites, shopping centres and passenger departure points. Note that, EXCL has around 59 units of 4G BTS within the Trans Sumatra Palembang - Lampung toll road and the company is consistently adding its BTS units to other Trans Sumatra toll roads.
