MDKA – Increasing metal minerals ASP due to increased demand from China Merdeka Copper Gold (MDKA) posted an increase in ASP of metal minerals due to increased demand from China. The increase in demand is in line with the PBoC stimulus last week. Note that, the production of copper, gold and silver from MDKA as well as other nickel derivative products from MBMA are exported to China, Japan, Korea and several other countries. However, MDKA and MBMA cannot necessarily increase production because they are limited by installed capacity and production range in accordance with the 2024 RKAB that has been approved by ESDM. Note that, MDKA posted sales of USD41.05 mn (+152.57% yoy) and a net loss of USD15.22 mn in 1Q24. (Source: Bisnis Indonesia)
