PTBA is exploring hydrogen-based renewable energy to meet future production and transportation needs, aligning with its vision to become a world-class environmentally conscious energy company. PTBA has already established a solar power plant at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and on Bali-Mandara Toll Road and is collaborating with various partners for further renewable energy projects. Additionally, PTBA is pioneering a project to convert coal into artificial graphite and anode sheets for lithium-ion batteries, aiming to support electric vehicle industry growth and national energy security while striving for net zero emissions by 2060.
