PTBA – To support sustainable agriculture as a form of CSR

PTBA – To support sustainable agriculture as a form of CSR Bukit Asam (PTBA) is building a solar power plant (PLTS) in 2023 to power irrigation pumps in Karang Raja Village, Muara Enim to encourage agricultural activities. Throughout 2023, Karang Raja Village already harvest 3 times, driven by the PLTS. In the last harvest season from September 2023 to January 2024, Karang Raja Village produced 5.5 tons of rice despite the dry season. The total production of Karang Raja Village to date has reached 14.5 tons of rice. Currently, PTBA is building another PLTS in Muara Enim. PTBA has built irrigation PLTS in 5 locations, namely Talawi mudik, Trimulyo, Tanjung Raja, Nanjungan and Rejosari Mataram with a total of 6 PLTS with a capacity of 192 kWp. (Source: Kontan)
