TLKM – Partnering with Scala on sustainable agriculture innovation

TLKM – Partnering with Scala on sustainable agriculture innovation Telkom Indonesia (TLKM) and Scala, a Japanese company, are in partnership and working together to create innovations for the agricultural ecosystem in Indonesia. The collaboration is for realizing TLKM's mission to accelerate the digital ecosystem in the Indonesian agricultural sector by using AI, IoT and Big Data Analytics. This innovation is carried out through farm management; to organize agricultural assets, to expand production capacity and to streamline business processes. TLKM and Scala also plans to explore into new ventures in the agricultural business with a focus on virtual markets. Previously, TLKM, through the Agree Farm Management platform and Agree Marketplace, has strengthened the supply chain in order to support the digital era' development. As of now, Agree has been used by around 29k farmers and has collaborated with more than 280 off taker partners and buyers. (Source : Bisnis Indonesia)
