UNTR — Lower sales in 5M24, but this year's target is still on track United Tractors (UNTR) aims to sustain its heavy equipment business despite industry challenges. From January to May 2024, UNTR's Komatsu equipment sales dropped to 1,757 units (-34.17% yoy). However, monthly sales rose from 274 units in April to 357 units in May. These sales were dominated by the mining sector (66%), followed by construction (13%), agroindustry (12%), and forestry (9%). Despite the downturn, UNTR maintains its 2024 sales target of 4,000 units. To boost performance, UNTR is expanding sales coverage, exploring growth opportunities in other sectors, and enhancing after-sales services to retain customer loyalty. (Source : Kontan)
