BDIA - Enters data center business Key shareholder of Tower Bersama Infrastructure (TBIG), Bersama Digital Infrastructure Asia Pte Ltd (BDIA) has started to tap into data center business by establishing Bersama Digital Data Center (BDDC) that previously acquired two local data centers with maximum capacity of 60 MW. (Source : Investor Daily) Comment: Burgeoning digital economy and internet penetration have made data center to be more important than before especially for in-shore and in-town data centers, in addition public’s push for data sovereignty. Nevertheless, Indonesia’s low data center penetration is among the lowest in Asia with 0.3 watt/ capita while total capacity compared to other ASEAN nation stands at 12.7%, leaving an ample room for growth ing forward.
