ANTM — Initiate first bauxite injection at Mempawah Smelter Project Aneka Tambang (ANTM) has initiated the first bauxite injection phase at the Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery (SGAR) in Mempawah. This initiative is part of ANTM’s mineral downstream strategy in collaboration with Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (INALUM) under MIND ID. ANTM highlighted SGAR Mempawah's crucial role in strengthening the national aluminum supply chain by producing high-quality alumina. With a projected production target of 1 mn tonnes of alumina, the facility will require approximately 3.3 mn wet metric tonnes of washed bauxite from ANTM’s mines.
