BSDE - Global bond buyback

BSDE - Global bond buyback Bumi Serpong Damai (BSDE) plans to conduct a tender offer to repurchase USD300 mn worth of bonds issued by its subsidiary, Global Prime Capital (GPC). The tender offer is expected to have a positive impact on BSDE's financial position. GPC may consider further buybacks of these bonds, although it's not obligatory. The offer will be presented to bondholders until November 3, 2023. This move is anticipated to strengthen BSDE's financial standing without negatively affecting its operations or business continuity. In 1H23, BSDE reported a net profit of IDR1.2 tn (+159.02% yoy) a significant increase from the previous year, driven by revenue growth in various business segments. (Source : Bisnis Indonesia)
