Coal - 1H25 exports down -21% yoy

Coal - 1H25 exports down -21% yoy BPS reported that Indonesia’s coal exports reached ~USD12 bn in 1H25, down -21.1% yoy. Export volume declined to ~184.2 mn tons (-6.3% yoy), while the average selling price fell to ~USD65/ton (-15.9% yoy). Indonesia Mining Association (IMA) says Indonesia’s coal export drop was expected, citing oversupply from China, India, and Mongolia, and likely to last until 2026. (Source : Kontan)
