CPIN - Benefits from Government' culling program Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CPIN) is one of Indonesian poultry players that benefits from this year's chicken culling program by the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA). The culling program helps MoA to stabilize an oversupply condition and the market price. MoA has instructed for the 4th times this year, from Aug 24th to Oct 7th, 2023 for poultry players including CPIN to cull Chicken' Parent Stock (CPS); 2.5 mn - aged between 50-54 weeks. This will help MoA to stabilize an oversupply condition and expects Chicken' Final Stock (CFS) in the market to be reduced by around 70.8 mn chickens in Sept to Nov'23. As a result, CPIN will benefit from higher Day Old Chick (DOC) and broiler price in 2H23. (Source : Kontan)
