INTP – A 9% yoy sales volume growth in 2023

INTP – A 9% yoy sales volume growth in 2023 Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa' (INTP) sales volume grew 9% yoy to 17.5 mn tons in 2023 and a 4% higher than the company' initial target. The sales volume growth was thanks to INTP' strategic move that has rented Bosowa Maros' plant, which boosted the sales volume in Sulawesi, Nusa Tenggara, and the eastern part of Indonesia. Moreover, INTP' sales also grew in Sumatra and Kalimantan, while at the same time INTP also maintained its market share in Java. Note that, the overall cement demand in Indonesia grew by around 3.6% yoy in 2023, except for Sulawesi that experienced a decline, meanwhile the demand in Kalimantan grew by 22%, mainly due to the ongoing project of the IKN.
