PTBA – Build coal handling facility

PTBA – Build coal handling facility Bukit Asam (PTBA) began the construction of Anyar coal handling facility with the groundbreaking on Saturday, December 30, 2023. The construction of the facility aims to increase the PTBA's transportation capacity and improve PTBA’s performance. According to the plan, there will be 3 facilities to be built, namely 2 Train Loading Stations (TLS) with a capacity of 3k tons per hour each along with rail loops, 2 line conveyor systems along 13 km and 17 km with a capacity of 3k tons per hour each and 3 dump hoppers that can be used for dump trucks with a capacity of 60 tons and 100 tons. The construction of the facility is part of cooperation with KAI in the development of coal transportation between Tanjung Enim-Keramasan.
