TLKM – Aims to strengthen digital business for 2023
A mobile arm of Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLKM), Telkomsel is aiming to enhance revenue stream from data and digital business this year. The contribution of data and digital stood at 81.0% in 9M22. To achieve this, Telkomsel is committed to increase customer additions as well as their engagement, thus improving customer quality. In addition, the company is aiming to strengthen product innovation, service and expand the company's offerings by collaborating with digital partner, or even acquiring such company. Telkomsel strives to stick with its customer centricity strategy to further improve loyalty. (Source : Kontan) Comment: The company's strategy to focus on data and digital expansion is already in line with industry's oning trend amid higher needs for digitalization. In addition, we are of the view that given Telkomsel's unique position as an agent of change amid digital divide across the country, then it may not be able to accelerate a phase out for basic services. Therefore, Telkomsel should expand its digital product offerings to compensate a maturing yet declined in legacy service revenue. In overall, we retain our positive view on TLKM especially amid improving competition landscape in mobile and diversification efforts in enterprise business.
