AMRT - 1,000 new stores outside Java This year, Sumber Alfaria Trijaya (AMRT) had set IDR3.5 tn in capex as the company plans to add 1,000 new stores outside Java. In 1Q23, AMRT already has 18,135 Alfamart stores, 2,143 Alfamidi stores, 323 Lawson stores, 301 Dan+Dan stores, and 45 Alfamidi super stores. In 1H23, AMRT' revenue reached to IDR53.83 tn (+12.4% yoy) and net profit reached to IDR1.61 tn (+28.6% yoy). AMRT' food segment revenue reached IDR19.6 tn (+13.5% yoy) and contributed around 71% of AMRT total revenue in 2Q23. AMRT' non-food segment' gross margin was higher (at 25%) than its food segment (19.8%). Jabodetabek area remained as the area that recorded the highest revenue growth (+13.4% yoy) vs other areas.
